The purpose of the Retreat is to provide advance practitioners in areas dealing with issues that affect elders and family an opportunity to connect and learn in a relaxing environment.

The event organizers are currently looking for proposals for a 90 minute session, which meet the following criteria:

  • Engage Experienced Mediators
  • Focus in-depth discussion
  • Provide opportunities for creativity
  • Inspire new approaches
  • Allow for a creative exploration of self
  • Crosses both elder and family issues
  • Intergenerational issues

Each proposal should contain the following:

  • Title
  • 75 word description which can be used in the program, if selected
  • Outline
  • What will be the take away for participants?
  • Presenter(s) contact information including name, address, phone and email address
  • A biography demonstrating expertise in the area of the proposal
  • The names and contact information for two references

Deadline for submission is February 17, 2014.
